One student at our school in Hervey Bay has excelled in his work experience placement.

Carinity Education Glendyne school captain, Will Dalgleish, has had several work experience placements at Kingfisher Bay Resort on K'gari (formerly Fraser Island).

He has been so eager to learn hospitality skills that some of these days have been over the school holiday period.

During his last workplace experience, resort staff were so pleased with Will's work they presented him with the COMPASS Values Award.

This is awarded to staff who deliver exemplary customer service and receive positive guest comments. It was the first time a work experience student has received this staff award.

A review from a Kingfisher Bay Resort guest stated that Will is a "great personality and excellent communicator; very personable and willing to go the extra mile for anything needed".

In addition to be an amazing representative of the school and receiving glowing reports, Will has also had his career goals solidified for the future, seeking all opportunities to become a Ranger.
