Cash stolen during robbery at Walkerville, South Australia

Police are investigating a robbery at a hotel in Walkerville that occurred in the early hours of this morning.

About 12.15am today (Thursday, 24 October) police were called to the hotel on Walkerville Terrace after reports that two men armed with poles entered the gaming room area and threatened staff. The pair demanded cash, and fled on foot with an amount of money.

No one was injured during the robbery.

The first suspect was wearing a black hooded jumper and pants, along with black Nike shoes. The second suspect was wearing a grey/black hooded jumper, black pants and grey shoes.

There are no clear links to a hotel robbery at Queenstown several hours later, but investigations are ongoing.
