As part of the 2023 Flood Recovery Program, road rehabilitation works on Castella Road are underway. These works will be undertaken between the Melba Highway and the Castella Road Bridge over the Yea River.
Works commenced on Monday 9 October, and we expect to complete the project by Wednesday 18 October. During this time, Castella Road will be closed, until it is safe to reopen it again.
Properties north of the Bridge will be accessible via the Melba Highway. Properties located on Campbells Creek Road and south of the bridge will be accessible via Healesville-Kinglake Road.
