Prepare your mini-flower crowns, get the glitter ready and slip on your dancing shoes – it's time for Kidchella – the festival of fun for kids.
Techno-nursery rhyme sensation Lenny Pearce and child-friendly rock band Bunny Racket are set to headline the Surfers Paradise mini-festival.
"A lot of parents will know their children rock out to Lenny Pearce and Bunny Racket and now is a chance to hear the tunes in person and for free at Kidchella," Economy, Tourism and Events Committee Deputy Chair Naomi Fowler said.
"This mini-festival – inspired by international music festival Coachella – gives the kids the chance to see live music and get creative with activities such as an art studio, glam bar, skate workshop, and ride on the giant Ferris Wheel.
"All this glittering entertainment is free – so check the online schedule and come on down with your little festival goer."

Getting there: Ride the G to Cavill Avenue or make your journey active and walk, ride, scoot, or skate to the event.
Lenny Pearce has amassed a large following on social media with his techno and dance versions of nursey rhymes. His set will be followed by a meet and greet where the whole family can get a selfie.
Bunny Racket writes and performs children's songs with a rock edge, gaining fans of both children and their parents.
At the art studio kids will be able to create their own festival art and can also head to the glam bar for some facepainting or even a glitter tattoo.
Skate workshops will be taught by experts with skateboards and helmets provided.
