Investigators from the Caulfield Divisional Response Unit have swooped on a pair of suspected drug traffickers in Melbourne's south-east, seizing approximately $70,000 worth of illicit substances as part of a seven-month investigation into the importation of an imitation firearm and trafficking drugs of dependence.
Following an early morning search warrant at a residential address in Clayton yesterday, police allegedly seized several items including approximately 148 grams of cocaine, approximately 7 grams of methylamphetamine, approximately 10 grams of ketamine, and approximately 20 grams of cannabis, with a total estimated street value of around $70,000.
A man and a woman were subsequently arrested and charged with various drug offences.

A 23-year-old Clayton woman has been charged with 3 x counts of possession.
The man was remanded to appear before Moorabbin Magistrates' Court today.
The woman was bailed to appear before Moorabbin Magistrates' Court on 17 June.
