Caversham Valley Primary Revamped for Term 1

  • Major upgrade at Caversham Valley Primary School completed and ready for the start of the 2025 school year
  • The $12.3 million two-storey teaching block includes 10 new classrooms

The Cook Labor Government has today announced the major upgrade of Caversham Valley Primary School is complete and ready for students and staff for the 2025 school year.

The upgrade will accommodate the growing number of students at Caversham Valley Primary School, in 10 general classrooms - providing space for an additional 300 students.

Also included in the new two-storey teaching block is a science classroom, staff offices, internal activity areas, toilets and storage.

The upgrade also consisted of a new landscaped courtyard and adjoining play area for students. The playground is a bespoke design, especially created to fit the surroundings, including the local native flora and fauna.

Design of the teaching block, outdoor space and play area was by Site Architecture Studio and the project constructed by McCorkell Constructions.
