Police have released CCTV vision and images as they continue to investigate a fire at a home in Sydney's south late last year.
About 4.45am on Monday 30 December 2024, emergency services were called to a home on Matson Crescent, Miranda, following reports of a fire in the garage of the home.
Fire and Rescue NSW officers attended and extinguished the blaze; however, the carport and two vehicles – a white Toyota Corolla and a blue Mazda CX5 – were destroyed.
Officers from Sutherland Shire Police Area Command attended and established a crime scene, which was forensically examined.
Police received no reports of injury.
As investigations into the fire – which is being treated as suspicious – continue, police have released CCTV images and footage of three unknown people detectives would like to speak to who may be able to assist with inquiries.
Police are also appealing for anyone with information on a white Toyota Corolla seen parked on Matson Crescent, Miranda, around the time of the incident to come forward.
Anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact Sutherland Police or Crime Stoppers: 1800 333 000 or https://nsw.crimestoppers.com.au. Information is treated in strict confidence. The public is reminded not to report information via NSW Police social media pages.
