Homicide Squad detectives have released CCTV footage as they continue to investigate the fatal shooting of a man in Sydney's west last year.
About 1.20am on Saturday 24 February 2024, officers attached Liverpool City Police Area Command were called to Liverpool Hospital after a man presented with gunshot wounds.
The man, who has since been identified as 32-year-old Jamie Goodworth, was unable to be revived and died a short time later.
Officers attached to State Crime Command's Homicide Squad, with the NSW Crime Commission, established Strike Force Heye to investigate.
Enquiries led police to identify an address in Endesor Park, where detectives believe the shooting took place.
In October 2024, police extradited and charged a man who remains before the courts.
As part of ongoing inquiries to identify others who may have been involved, police have released CCTV of two vehicles – a white Toyota Hiace and silver Toyota Camry – which were seen in the area at the time of the incident.
Anyone with information about the owners of the vehicle or their movements around the time of the shooting are urged to contact police.
Investigations under Strike Force Heye continue.
Anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact Crime Stoppers: 1800 333 000 or https://nsw.crimestoppers.com.au. Information is managed on a confidential basis. The public is reminded not to report information via NSW Police social media pages.
