CCTV Released in North Albury Suspicious Fire

Police have released CCTV footage as investigations continue into a suspicious fire in the state's south earlier this year.

About 1am on Thursday 2 May 2024, emergency services were called to a business on Batten Street, North Albury, following reports of a suspicious fire.

Fire and Rescue NSW attended, and it took several hours to extinguish the blaze.

Six prime movers, 2 b-double trailers and a single set trailer was destroyed.

Officers attached to Murray River Police District established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

As inquiries continue, police have released CCTV footage of a person they believe may be able to assist with inquiries.

The man is described as approximately 165cm tall and was wearing a green North Face brand jumper, black tracksuit pants, orange or red gloves, tan boots and had his face covered. He was seen leaving the area on a dirt bike.
