CCTV Released In Trafalgar Death Investigation

Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are releasing CCTV as part of their investigation into the death of a man in Trafalgar last week.

A passerby alerted police after locating a man by the side of Waterloo Road around 10.30am on 28 July.

Investigators believe the man was hit by a vehicle on Waterloo Road, east of Davey Drive, sometime overnight or earlier that morning.

The driver did not stop at the scene.

The man was last seen walking east on Waterloo Road, approximately 50m east of Middle Road, about 7.10pm on 27 July.

Investigators are yet to formally identify the man, however, are looking into several avenues of enquiry.

He was wearing a black tracksuit top, a white chequered shirt, black trackpants with two white stripes down the sides, and no shoes.

Detectives have released vision of a medium rigid white truck seen driving east on Waterloo Road in Trafalgar at around 7.10pm on 27 July and believe the driver may be able to assist with their enquiries.
