There will be fireworks displays at 9.30am and midnight, with kids activities, food trucks and much more.
Mildura Mayor Helen Healy said the New Year's Eve community event was one of the region's most popular and successful annual events.
"Each year we see thousands of people flock to this free community event," Cr Healy said.
"It offers the combination of live entertainment for all ages and tastes, all in a safe, friendly, alcohol-free environment, which is why I think it's been so popular for so long."
Mildura Entertainment owner David Storer encouraged the community to take advantage of the free program of live entertainment.
"Whether it's entertainment for the kids or live music for adults, I've put together a program I think will appeal to a very broad range of audiences, which is really what this annual event is about," Mr Storer said.
In addition to live entertainment, food trucks and other festivities, the nearby Mildura Water Play Park will open until late on the night, offering plenty of opportunities for the community to cool off throughout the night.
