Nurses, teachers and police officers were among the 89 state servants celebrated this week for their service to the Tasmanian community.
The annual Premier's Long Service Recognition Program identifies and acknowledges those who have achieved 40 or 50 years of service within the Tasmanian State Service.
Premier Jeremy Rockliff congratulated the 89 state servants for the decades of service they have provided the Tasmanian community.
"From teaching the next generation of leaders, to keeping our communities safe and healthy, each of these state servants have dedicated their careers to making Tasmania the best place to live, work and raise a family," Premier Rockliff said.
"It is my great pleasure to thank all 89 recipients on behalf of all Tasmanians.
"As part of our 2030 Strong Plan for Tasmania's Future, we are investing in frontline workers across health, education and emergency services.
"Our Government will continue to prioritise the essential services Tasmania needs, to help develop stronger communities, enhance our regions and keep our communities safe."
Small ceremonies to recognise their important contributions were held in the South, North, and North-West earlier in the week.
