Tasmanian Government

"Our inland fishery provides significant economic benefits for Tasmania, particularly in regional areas, and Gone Fishing Day is a great time to recognise and promote what the state has to offer."

There are a range of Tasmanian angling events across the state as part of Gone Fishing Day which include:

Gone Fishing Day is supported by Inland Fisheries Service and Anglers Alliance Tasmania with the cooperation of local angling clubs.
