  • The Company has received results for the first of its deep step out holes at Sentazon.

  • GNDD-314 returned outstanding results including (Table 1):

  • New Footwall Zone

    • 2.8m at 62.5 g/t AuEq2 - 59.0 g/t Au, 25.8 g/t Ag, 7.2% Zn from 296.9m; and

    Main Sentazon Manto

    • 17.5m at 1.9g/t AuEq2 - 0.7 g/t Au, 11.5 g /t Ag, 2.4% Zn from 205.0m including;

    2.1m at 9.1 g/t AuEq2 - 3.7 g/t Au, 33.3 g /t Ag, 11.4% Zn from 205.0m and

    3.0m at 2.7 g/t AuEq2 - 0.8 g/t Au, 14.3 g /t Ag, 3.9% Zn from 217.0m

    • GNDD-314:

      • Returned the highest grades recorded at Sentazon from the deepest hole drilled to date;

      • extended the new Footwall Zone 75 metres down dip below previous drilling; and

      • extends the main Sentazon Manto 50 metres downdip from GNDD-296 with a significant increase in the grade encountered down-dip compared to that in GNDD-296.

    Challenger Exploration (ASX: CEL) ("CEL" the "Company") is pleased to announce results from the Company's flagship Hualilan Gold Project in San Juan, Argentina. Following last week's release of results from the first 13 holes of the Company's follow up drill program at Sentazon, the Company has received results from GNDD-314, the first of its deep holes at Sentazon.

    GNDD-314 was drilled on Cross Section 230 (Figure 1) to test for extensions to the main Sentazon Manto and the new Footwall Zone beneath GNDD-296. The hole is the first of several holes designed to test for deeper extensions to the high-grade mineralisation at Sentazon. The hole has confirmed that the mineralisation at Sentazon remains open at depth and has returned the best grades recorded at Sentazon to date.
