Change to Council Services due to Covid positive cases in region

Effective immediately - Wednesday 29 September 2021 until otherwise notified

Due to positive COVID-19 cases confirmed in Cooma and Jindabyne, Council has moved to Level 2 of their pandemic plan which follows the CRJO (Canberra Region Joint Organisation) Pandemic Plan.

In the interests of public safety and the safety of residents in our Residential Aged Care Facilities, and on the advice of NSW Public Health, our Yallambee Lodge and Snowy River Hostel entered an immediate 72-hour lockdown last night. There are, at the time of publication, no active cases in our aged care facilities. Residents, relatives and employees were informed directly.

This move to Level 2 affects some of Council's services and operations with the following changes now in place (again):
