Transport for NSW wish to advise motorists of changed traffic conditions on Abbotsford Bridge at Curlwaa, this month for essential maintenance work.
Routine maintenance on the bridge deck will be carried out on the bridge that crosses the Murray River between Curlwaa and Yelta to provide a safer bridge for transport customers.
Work starts Monday 14 August and will be carried out weekdays between 7am and 5pm. Works are expected to take two weeks to complete (expected completion Friday 25 August), weather permitting.
During the maintenance work there will be delays of up to 20 minutes crossing the bridge.
Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions, follow the direction of signs and traffic control and allow an extra 20 minutes travel time.
