The Victorian Government is making changes to disability parking to create an easier and fairer system for all.
The new Accessible Parking Permit (APP) Scheme will streamline the application process, making it simpler and consistent across the state.
The new permit also will better align with the COAG 2010 Australian Disability Parking Permit Scheme (ADPS), making sure Victorian permits are recognised across the country.
Existing permits can be used until their expiry date. When you do need to apply for a new permit, you will need to apply with the new application process.
A paper-based version of the application is available for people with no access to mobile phones or the internet from our Council's Customer Service Centre. However, the online process provides a faster outcome.
