There are changes to the NDIS which start from today, 3 October 2024.
One of the immediate changes is a new definition of NDIS supports. This affects all participants, but for most people there won't be big changes to the way they experience the NDIS right now.
It means that from 3 October, participants can only spend NDIS funds on NDIS supports.
We have published lists that clearly define:
We have also published Easy Read versions of the NDIS supports lists .
To keep participants informed about these changes, we have also:
- sent a text message and email explaining the changes
- updated our guidelines .
We will continue to support participants and providers through these changes.
