Swan Hill Rural City Council advises residents of changes to waste services scheduled for this coming Monday, in response to the extreme weather conditions forecast.
Council's Director Infrastructure, Leah Johnston said to ensure the safety of our workers and the continuation of services, kerbside collections will commence and finish earlier than usual on Monday, 16 December 2024.
"Residents are reminded to place their bins out the night before as required to avoid missed collections.
"Additionally, both the Swan Hill and Robinvale Landfills will close to the public earlier than normal, with gates shutting at 2pm on Monday," she said.
Ms. Johnston expressed Council's gratitude for the community's understanding and cooperation as adjustments are implemented to prioritise safety during the extreme weather conditions.
