There will be some changes to waste services over the Christmas period.
Household bin collections
Due to public holiday closures, there'll be no bin collections on Christmas Day. This will have a flow-on effect to collections on subsequent days.
Kerbside bin collections will take place one day later than usual, as outlined below:

Normal bin collection services will resume on Monday 30 December.
Bulky waste kerbside collections
From Friday 20 December 2024 to Thursday 2 January 2025, bulky waste kerbside collections will be taking a short break, so make a booking soon if you're wanting to de-clutter before Christmas. Every household in Port Stephens is entitled to 2 kerbside collections per financial year. Click here to make a booking.
