A man has been arrested following a series of alleged burglaries in Victoria’s west., Victoria Police say
Detectives from Ararat Crime Investigation Unit executed a search warrant on a property in Ararat on 15 February.
A large amount of allegedly stolen property was recovered during the search, including a trailer and a horse float.
It is alleged the burglaries took place in schools and sporting clubs in the Great Western, Moyston, Ararat and Stawell areas between November and January.
A 53-year-old Ararat man was arrested and charged with 29 counts of burglary and theft.
He has been bailed o appear at Stawell Magistrates’ Court on 15 May.
