Police have charged a man following their investigations into the alleged serious assault of a man at Barney Point in Gladstone on August 3.
Officers were called to the Brisbane Street property at approximately 11.40pm following reports of an alleged altercation.
Upon arrival, a 30-year-old Barney Point man was located with multiple stab wounds and lacerations.
He was transported in a critical condition to Gladstone Hospital before being airlifted to Brisbane for further treatment, where he remains in a stable condition.
A 30-year-old South Gladstone man has been charged with one count of attempted murder and is scheduled to appear in the Gladstone Magistrates Court today.
Investigations are continuing.
