Transit Safety Division detectives have charged a man following an alleged sexual assault last month, Victoria Police say.
Investigators have been told a 15-year-old girl was travelling on a bus on 17 February when a male boarded the bus on Hallam Road and allegedly sexually assaulted her.
Detectives arrested 21-year-old Hampton Park man today.
He was interviewed and charged 3 count of sexual assault of a child under 16.
The man faced Melbourne Magistrates’ Court today and was bailed to appear again on 6 April.
