Police are appealing for public assistance after a boy was approached by two men in a car on the state’s south coast today, NSW Police say.
About 2.45pm today, a 12-year-old boy was riding a bike along Matron Porter Drive, Narrawallee, near Mollymook, when two men in an older model sedan slowed down before stopping near him.
The boy told police the man driving called out to him before he quickly rode off.
The matter was reported to officers from Shoalhaven Local Area Command.
The car has been described as a faded black coloured older model sedan in a weathered condition with rust spots.
Police are urging anyone with information to assist to come forward and contact Crime Stoppers.
