The young girl critically injured in yesterday's Endeavor Hills collision has sadly died in hospital.
Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives have charged a man following the collision, which occurred at the intersection of James Cook Drive and Heatherton Road, on Thursday 17 October about 8.30am.
The 24-year-old man has been charged with one count of dangerous driving causing serious injury.
It is alleged the young girl was crossing Heatherton Road, at a pedestrian crossing with family, when she was struck by a car.
The three-year-old was critically injured and was taken to hospital in a life-threatening condition.
The driver of the car stopped at the scene and was arrested by police.
