Bayside Council is hosting a free Child & Family Pop Up Hub to provide vulnerable families with comprehensive information on the medial, legal and government services available.
The pop-up will help connect vulnerable families, those with a CALD background, and those unable to access Medicare to the services they need.
The pop-up will bring numerous local and government services together to offer free advice and information in a safe space.
A children's storytime and free speech therapy screening will also be available for children who come along.
Adults will be able to have a free hearing test.
Representatives from the following organisations will be at the pop up:
- Bayside Council
- Better Connected Community Services
- Carer Gateway (Benevolent Society)
- Hearing Australia (free testing for adults)
- Homes NSW (formerly DCJ Housing Services)
- Marrickville Legal Centre
- My Best Me - Early Learning Academy
- Rockdale Children & Families Hub
- Services Australia (Centrelink)
- Service NSW (government services)
