Child Injured in Serious Durack Crash

Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are seeking information regarding a serious crash that occurred in Durack (between Halls Creek and Kununurra) on Monday, 23 December 2024.

About 8.25am, a white Toyota Prado station wagon was travelling north on the Great Northern Highway towards Kununurra, when the vehicle left the left the road and travelled into bushland before rolling.

A 10-year-old girl who was a passenger in the vehicle, sustained serious injuries and was conveyed to Perth Children's Hospital for medical treatment.

The female driver and two other adult passengers were not injured.

Major Crash investigators are urging anyone who saw the crash, or sighted the white Toyota Prado travelling in the area prior to the crash, or who has any information relating to this crash, to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au .
