Child Sexual Offences Arrest

A Riverland man will face court charged with child sexual offences.

Thursday 19 December, following an investigation, Detectives from Public Protection Branch ANCOR unit, together with Berri CIB, arrested a 27-year-old man from the Riverland for procuring a child to commit an indecent act and two counts of failing to report reportable child contact.

The man was refused bail and will appear in the Berri Magistrates Court today. Friday 20 December.

Detective Sergeant Nik Stollznow, Public Protection Branch said; "This arrest is another great example of the tireless work being undertaken by police to ensure the protection of children within our communities.
