A special range of activities are taking place today at Kalkee Road Hub in celebration of Children's Week, including a visit from a mobile petting zoo.
Hosted by the energetic Supported Playgroups team the event has been well attended, with all places booked out.
Along with getting up close to some cuddly creatures at the mobile petting zoo, craft activities are also on offer.
Children's Week is a national celebration that recognizes the talents, skills, achievements and rights of children, and this year, the theme of Children's week focuses on the right of all children to choose their own friends and safely connect with others.
