Murrindindi Shire Council is delighted to announce that this year's Children's Week Storytime programs at our libraries were a blossoming success, with numerous children and their families joining us to celebrate children's rights to a safe and clean environment.
During Children's Week (19 to 27 October), we utilised storytelling and reading to educate our youngest residents about the importance of trees and plants. Through Storytime, crafts and games, groups explored how trees benefit our environment, provide homes for wildlife, and supply us with food and clean air.
We extend our thanks to all the families who participated and made this week enjoyable. We look forward to continuing to create opportunities at our libraries for children to learn and grow.
