On 29 November 2019, Christa Tobler gave a lecture in Brussels on the new case law of the Court of Justice of the European Union in the field of gender discrimination.
The lecture was part of the European Commission's annual "Legal Seminar" in the field of EU legislation on the grounds of discrimination mentioned in Article 19 TFEU, namely gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnic origin, religion or belief, disability and age.
Christa Tobler is a member of the "Executive committee of senior experts" of the European Commission in the "European Equality Network", with the special portfolio "EU law and expertise on sex, gender identity and gender expression in relation to trans and intersex people".
