The City of Swan has appointed David Trevaskis as its new Executive Director Corporate.
Mr Trevaskis will step into the role on Monday, June 12, and comes to the City with extensive senior executive experience in local government.
He was the Shire of Moora's Deputy Chief Executive Officer before moving to the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder where he was General Manager Finance and Corporate/Chief Financial Officer then Deputy Chief Executive/Director Corporate Services.
Mr Trevaskis said he looked forward to joining the City of Swan and settling into his new role.
"This is a fantastic opportunity and I am really excited to get started," he said.
"My background is in regional local government so I am looking forward to being part of a local government with such beautifully diverse communities, industries and landscapes."
Stephen Cain, Chief Executive Officer, said he was pleased to welcome Mr Trevaskis to the City.
"The City of Swan is one of the fastest growing in the Perth metropolitan area and I'm pleased to lead a strong team of Executive Directors who work together to ensure our community's growing needs are met," he said.
