Civilian Employee Charged - Specialist Command 25 February

NSW Police civilian employee, one of two people charged over an alleged domestic incident in Sydney's south overnight.

About 8pm yesterday (Monday 24 February 2025), police were called to a home in Turrella, following reports of a domestic incident.

Officers arrived to find that the occupants, a 62-year-old man – attached to a Specialist Command - and a 62-year-old woman had allegedly assaulted each other, sustaining minor injuries.

They were both arrested and taken to Kogarah Police Station where they were both charged with common assault (DV) and stalk/intimidate intend fear physical harm (DV).

They were both granted conditional bail to appear before Sutherland Local Court on Wednesday 5 March 2025.

His employment status is under review.
