Recent storms have deposited large amounts of seagrass wrack at the harbour entrance. Vessel operators are advised to take extra caution in traversing the entrance and to have engines raised. Vessels with a deeper draft should plan to cross only at high tide levels.
Dredging will commence on September 12 or 13 and will continue until a passage is cleared.
