Tasmanian Sparkling Wine House, Clover Hill Wines, will be the upcoming Taste of Summer's official sparkling partner when the event kicks off in Hobart next month.
Tasmania produces some of the best sparkling wine in the world, and is widely recognised as Australia's home of premium sparkling wine.
The upcoming Taste of Summer event is a fantastic platform to showcase so many Tasmanian producers in one place at one time.
The Tasmanian Liberal Government is so pleased to support the event with a $1.4 million investment, as we know this event generates significant economic activity for businesses across the State.
The program will feature 84 stallholders with produce curated from various regions across the state. Importantly, the event will be operated in a COVID-safe way.
We have faced a difficult 18 months and the tourism, hospitality and events sector has been hit particularly hard.
Getting out on the Hobart waterfront over the holiday period is an iconic part of Tasmania's summer calendar, and the Taste of Summer will be a festival for all Tasmanians to enjoy while also supporting our visitor economy.
I encourage Tasmanians to head along to the Taste of Summer and enjoy our fantastic local produce, artists, and entertainers.
