Police will prepare a report for the Coroner following the death of a boy in Cobbannah this morning.
Emergency services were called to a camp site off Angusvale Track about 11.50am after reports the boy had been seen in the river around 11.20am but had not been seen since.
A search was conducted and the boy was located deceased in the water about 2.50pm.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
