Cobblebank Hub Masterplan Greenlit

The state-of-the-art Cobblebank Community Services Hub is one step closer after Melton City Council formally approved the building masterplan at its meeting on 22 July.

The Hub will provide more than 8,000 square metres of tenancy space and dedicated carparking in a six-storey, 5-Star Green Rating building and reflects input Council received from prospective tenants.

Situated in the heart of the Cobblebank Metropolitan Activity Centre, the purpose-built Community Services Hub will deliver critical services for City of Melton residents.

It will meet the needs of our growing community by delivering access to a wider range of services that will be both easier to access and closer to home.

Eighteen prominent organisations have expressed interest in the Hub, with services spanning mental health, disability, allied health, refugee, and family support, as well as culturally specific services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and culturally diverse communities.

The Hub will also provide inclusive and welcoming green spaces for the community to enjoy.

Construction on the Cobblebank Community Services Hub is due to begin in early 2025, with the opening scheduled for 2026. Expressions of interest for community services and commercial tenants remain open.
