Coffee with a Councillor back for 2020

Swan Hill Rural City Council's Coffee with a Councillor sessions are back for 2020 - starting this Saturday.

The sessions give the community an informal chance to talk to Councillors over a coffee, about their ideas, issues or concerns relating to Council services.

"After receiving a lot of positive feedback about the sessions last year, we've decided to continue the initiative into 2020," Mayor Bill Moar said.

"We will be rolling out the sessions more often and in more places to make sure everyone gets the chance to have a chat."

The sessions will be advertised throughout the year via newspapers and social media, and also at local venues. Residents are encouraged to keep an eye out for nearby sessions.

The first session for 2020 will be this Saturday, 29 February from 10am to 12pm at the Riverside Park adventure playground in Swan Hill.

Sessions are also planned for 15 March at the Linga Longa Café, Nyah West (10.30am to 12.30pm) and 27 March at the Five Star Café, Manangatang (1.30pm to 3.30pm)
