Under Secretary of Defense for Policy Dr. Colin Kahl met with Danish Permanent Under Secretary of State, Mr. Jean-Charles Ellerman-Kingombe, today at the Pentagon.
Their discussion focused on shared security priorities and reaffirmed the enduring U.S.-Denmark bilateral relationship. Under Secretary Kahl underscored the continued importance of bilateral cooperation on Arctic domain awareness and defense modernization efforts.
The leaders discussed Russia's unprovoked, further invasion of Ukraine. Under Secretary Kahl thanked Denmark for its leadership in providing assistance to Ukraine and for encouraging other Allies and partners to think strategically about how to sustain support.
