Collision In Preston Turns Fatal

A woman has died following a collision in Preston earlier this month.

It is believed a Holden Commodore and a Ford Mondeo collided at the intersection of Plenty Road and Milton Crescent about 4.50pm on 9 June.

The passenger of the Ford, an 81-year-old Richmond woman, was taken to hospital where she died on 14 June.

Neither driver was seriously injured.

The exact circumstances surrounding the collision are yet to be determined and investigations remain ongoing.
