Community At Heart Of Busselton Water Grants And Survey

  • $50,000 grant program launched to support local grassroots projects
  • Feedback from customers to inform continual improvement

Busselton Water has today launched two new community initiatives - the 2025 Community Partnership Program and its biennial Customer Survey.

Applications are now open for the 2025 Busselton Water Community Partnership Program, with the local water provider also seeking feedback from its customers through the Busselton Water Customer Survey 2025.

The Community Partnership Program, which is now in its ninth year, supports local projects, events and activities, particularly those focused on water use efficiency and quality, environmental sustainability, education, community connection, innovation and leadership.

In 2024, Busselton Water partnered with 13 local groups and organisations in the areas of sport, disability services, community services and the environment.

This year there is $50,000 in funding available for local community organisations, volunteer groups, schools and sporting clubs in the Busselton area, who are encouraged to apply for grants of up to $5,000.

Busselton Water conducts its Customer Survey every two years as an important way of benchmarking its performance and seeking feedback from its customers about how it can continue to improve.

The simple but comprehensive survey should take no more than 10 minutes to complete and includes questions about a range of areas including water supply services, account payments, communication with customers, and service interruptions.

The first 100 customers to complete the survey will receive a $20 credit on their Busselton Water account, and everyone who completes the survey before Wednesday, 14 May will go in the draw to win one of three major prizes of a $650 credit on their Busselton Water account that is the average annual water charge (including service charge plus water usage).

The 2025 Customer Survey and Community Partnership Program are both now open until Wednesday, 14 May 2025. For more information or to apply for the Community Partnership Program, visit www.busseltonwater.wa.gov.au/community/community-partnerships .
