Bayside Council has approved 25 recipients for the latest round of Bayside Council Community Grants worth a total of $62,941.
Bayside Council's Community Grants Program is designed to support local, not-for-profit, community organisations, groups, and clubs that provide programs or services to the Bayside community.
Applications were open for six weeks in February and Council engaged with local community groups with information sessions to ensure they had the information required to apply.
Applications were assessed by the Independent Assessment Panel in accordance with the eligibility and selection criteria detailed in Council's Community Grants and Donations Policy and the Community Grants Guidelines.
Mayor Bill Saravinovski said:
"Our Community Grants Program helps provide support for the incredible work community organisations do for our community," Mayor Bill Saravinovski said.
"We're excited to see the positive impact these grants and programs can have on out Bayside community."
