Community Grants 2024/25: Round 1 Applications Open

Leeton Shire Council wishes to remind the community that applications are being accepted for Round One of Council's Community Strengthening Grants.

This funding is available to support community groups and organisations in their endeavours to establish, strengthen and/or implement projects which will benefit the Leeton Shire community.

Grants are capped at $2,000 each.

Applications for this grant will close at 5pm on Thursday, 31 October 2024.

A copy of the guidelines and application form can be obtained here. Alternatively, requests can be sent to [email protected], or by collecting a hard copy from the Council Administration Building at 23-25 Chelmsford Place, Leeton.

Previous recipients include the Rotary Club of Leeton for the upgrade of the Main Gates Stage 3 of the Leeton Showground, Yanco Museum Miniature Railways for the construction of a station shade roof to keep children safe in the harsh summer sun and Leeton Lions Club for the purchase of a train camera system to enhance safety aboard the Lions Train.

Other grant programs are also available to the Leeton Shire community and Council encourages those interested to read the guidelines thoroughly to check eligibility.
