Mayor Cr Adrian Weston said the program offers financial assistance to support services, programs and events delivered by community groups, clubs and associations in Campaspe Shire.
"It was great to see so many community groups from across the shire at the event which saw 44 successful applicants receive financial assistance that will contribute towards total project costs worth $460,995.
Grant recipient Mitchell Bull from the Kyabram Blue Light Inc. formally thanked Campaspe Shire for contributing $1,000 for the Kyabram Blue Light events and disco.
"Being a non for profit organisation, the grant is basically what makes our event possible," Mr Bull said.
Tongala Primary School Principal, Robert Hogan expressed the school's gratitude for the $1000 Koori artwork grant.
"This grant will allow our school to create art work to reflect our increasing indigenous student population." Mr Hogan said.
Alan Mathieson-Harrison from the Rochester Motoring Club was delighted with the $3000 grant to make the Rochester Motoring Club Biannual Show n Shine possible.
"This event will be a new experience for Rochester and will bring new people to our town," Mr Mathieson-Harrison said.
