42 community members representative of all Bayside suburbs, ages, backgrounds and abilities are helping to shape Council's plans for the next four years.
The Future Plans community panel is tasked with considering and discussing community feedback, researching information and developing recommendations for Council.
These recommendations are helping to inform the Bayside's new Council Plan, Financial and Asset Plans, and Health and Wellbeing Plan.
The panel has already met six times since February, and will meet for another two sessions in May to discuss, debate and deliberate key issues and plans, providing insights and opinions to guide important decisions.
Bayside Mayor, Councillor Hanna El Mouallem said, "Having been on a community panel myself in 2020, I understand the commitment and effort undertaken by the panel members to put together considered recommendations for Council.
"I would like to thank them for their hard work and contribution to shaping the future of Bayside."
The Panel's Recommendations Report will be published in June 2025.
Thank you to all the participants for their commitment to making Bayside a fantastic place to live and work.
