The Community Satisfaction Survey program is set to commence in Baw Baw this week, with residents advised that they may soon receive a phone call inviting participation.
The Victorian Government's annual program will sample resident sentiment four times a year to provide a more consistent measure of community satisfaction across the full 12 months.
The program will see independent market research agency, National Field Services conduct approximately 100 telephone interviews with a random selection of residents during each of the four survey periods to assess the service delivery of Baw Baw Shire Council against a range of measures.
The survey interviews will take place throughout the following months:
July 2024
August and September 2024
October to December 2024
January to March 2025
Baw Baw Shire Mayor Cr Annmarie McCabe said the community satisfaction survey results provided valuable insights into areas where we perform well and those areas that we could improve in.
"I encourage our residents to take part in the surveys if they receive the calls. They don't take very long, and the results are very helpful for the ongoing work of Council and to help improve our service delivery for all residents."
All resident details and individual responses to the survey are strictly anonymous.
