Applications are now open for individuals and not-for-profit sporting/community groups for funding through Council's Community Sponsorship program for activities that support vibrant social and community outcomes.
The program aims to support delivery of vibrant community events and/or support individuals/groups competing in or attending an event to become ambassadors for our region whilst representing Baw Baw Shire.
Last year 31 local groups, events and regional ambassadors received Council grants and sponsorship support. Recipients ranged from the Aberfeldy Cemetery Trust to the West Gippsland Hockey Association and everything in between, demonstrating the wide breadth of funding opportunities available.
Applications open today for five weeks, closing at 12pm on Monday 8 August 2022.
This is the first round of funding for 2022/23 and a second round will open in March 2023.
