Concern For Missing Man Maxwell

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing man Maxwell.

Officers have been told the 89-year-old was last seen leaving his home in Wahroongaa Road in Murrumbeena on Thursday 20 February about 9.30am.

Max was headed to a workshop in Bentleigh East which police have now confirmed he didn't attend.

He was driving his grey 2006 Honda CRV wagon with registration UAU824.

Enquiries by police have established Max's phone was in the Werribee area around 10.30pm and then his car was sighted at the end of North Road, near Beach Road in Brighton about 2.10am.

Family members and police are concerned for Max as his disappearance is extremely out of character.

An image of Max has been released in the hope someone provides information on his current whereabouts.

Max is described as having a medium build and white hair.

It is not known what he was last wearing.
