Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing man Thomas.
The 72-year-old was last seen on McCrae Street in Dandenong about 4.15pm on Tuesday, 20 September.
Police and family are concerned for Thomas' welfare as he has dementia, and his disappearance is out of character.
An image of Thomas has been released in the hope someone recognises him and provides information on his current whereabouts.
Thomas is described as about 165cm tall with short grey hair and brown eyes.
He was last seen wearing a blue collared jumper and dark blue jeans. Thomas was not wearing his glasses.
Anyone who sights Thomas is urged to call Triple Zero (000) or with information about his whereabouts is urged to call Dandenong Police Station on (03) 9767 7444.
