Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing woman Thuy.
The 79-year-old was last seen on Maryvale Street in Sunshine about 2.30pm today.
Police and family are concerned for her welfare as she has dementia.
She is described as 160cm tall with grey hair, thin build and is wearing black-coloured clothing.
Thuy may be in the Footscray, St Albans and Maribyrnong areas.
Police have released an image of Thuy in the hope someone recognises her and provides information on his current whereabouts.
Anyone who sights Thuy and anyone with information about her whereabouts is urged to call Sunshine Police Station on 9313 3333.
